As the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Leyton Energie Trading Limited, he brings over two decades of expertise to the company.

With a strong educational foundation from the University of Lagos, where he earned degrees in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Wale Alabi has built a distinguished career spanning various facets of the energy sector. His experience includes upstream and downstream operations, commodities trading, and project financing.
As Managing Director and Chief Executive, Leyton Energie Trading Limited he leads the strategic direction and operational management of Leyton Energie Trading Limited, overseeing its global operations in Nigeria, Rotterdam, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the United States; Develops and executes strategies for multi-commodities trading, ensuring market competitiveness and profitability; Manages project funding initiatives across Africa, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders and investors.

He’s held previous Roles as Reservoir Engineer, Agip Oil, C.O.O, Petroviva Energy Limited, Managing Partner, Blackwaters Trading, General Manager of Operations, Dansaki Petroleum Limited. He was a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cartus where he provided valuable insights and strategic guidance to corporations such as Procter & Gamble (P&G) and General Electric (GE). He organized Subsea Engineering Workshops for Chevron Nigerian Limited (CNL) via collaborations with JEE and IDACO to deliver technical training and education, showcasing his expertise in subsea engineering.

He is adept at securing and managing project funding, with a particular focus on African markets.
